Product and Help Center appearance
Set your product branding and choose how the Help Center presents help pages, readers, and release updates.
Product branding
Brand
In Settings › Appearance, under Brand, select Set up the brand when it says No brand yet, or Review brand when it says Brand confirmed. This starts setup or lets you review the detected brand.
Logos
In Settings › Appearance, under Logo, select Upload for Light theme or Dark theme.
In the file picker, choose a PNG, JPEG, or WebP file up to 512 KB.
Your uploaded logo appears beside your product’s name in the app and Help Center. A theme without an upload uses the mark Cactus found for your site. To return to that mark, select Remove beside the upload.
App accent
In Settings › Appearance, under Accent, choose an option:
| Accent choice | What it uses |
|---|---|
| Use Cactus | Cactus’s sage and cactus green |
| Use detected brand | Your detected brand accent; this option is available when a brand accent has been detected |
Help Center appearance
Readers and figures
In Settings › Appearance, under Readers, choose a reader level for the Help Center and answers.
Under Readers, choose a figure style.
Turn on Use your brand colour if a brand colour is available.
The brand-colour switch is unavailable until a brand colour is available.
Type
In Settings › Appearance, under Type, choose a typeface.
Sans: The existing Cactus interface typeface.
Serif: Signifier.
Type changes the public Help Center; the Cactus app keeps its current typeface. The choices are unavailable until a brand is confirmed.
What's New layout
In Settings › Appearance, under What's New layout, choose a layout:
| Layout | What readers see |
|---|---|
| List | A timeline by month; a release opens where it stands |
| Cards | A grid of releases, each with its title and summary |
Agents page
In Settings › Appearance, turn Agents page on to show a page about connecting an AI agent to your help, or off to leave that page out.
